About SINTRA

Three generations of transformer making, from Tamsui in 1971 to Lippo Cikarang today.

A Culture of Excellence, Since 1996

PT. Sintra Sinarindo Elektrik (SINTRA) was founded in October 1996 and has become a market leader in the design and manufacture of 33 kV-class distribution transformers and 150 kV-class power transformers.

Over more than 25 years SINTRA has built industry-leading technical expertise and expanded its capacity to become one of the top suppliers of transformers to PT. PLN (Persero), Indonesia’s state-owned power company. SINTRA is an approved PLN vendor for both 20 kV pole-mounted distribution transformers and 150 kV substation power transformers.

We are also a preferred supplier to EPC consultants and contractors, commercial buildings and private companies in Indonesia and overseas, in oil, gas and mining, chemicals, smelters, fiber, glass, textiles, rubber, and pulp and paper.
